94. The Daleks’ Master Plan, Part IV: The Traitors

Lots of death in this episode, and it was a bummer to see Nicholas Courtney go so soon. Also surprising to see a companion killed off. Still, the episode was generally interesting. Although Katarina’s screams when being held hostage seemed excessive.

It seemed like the writers were really trying to shock the audience with the notion that their “toughest security agent” is … GASP! … a woman! The way the characters initially referred to her without pronouns or a first name seemed rather forced. But it was nice to see Jean Marsh again.

Grade: B
