68. The Space Museum, Part I: The Space Museum

I can’t seem to come up with a coherent overarching thought on this episode, so all I have is random notes:

  • Most 1960s-era Doctor Who practical effects seem to have made it into this episode: models of spaceships, actors having to do awkward freeze frames, reverse video, some sort of dissolved screen, etc.
  • Why is the Dalek the only museum pieces with a placard?
  • I wonder if the word “fussation” was in the script or if it was a Hartnell ad lib.

Grade: B-plus (sets up the story pretty well, fun practical effects)
